Sick of Health Insurance

Health insurance. Having to explain to the “first line” of personnel who appear to be there simply to wear you down, what a procedure is, what the codes mean, and why something is, in fact, covered by my insurance.

My doctor’s office actually provided me all the information knowing that my insurance was denying the claim assuming that I would probably just pay it.

It took several phone calls but they did pay the claim. It was extremely frustrating, though, especially when you are sick and having to fight for your insurance to do their job.
