Make Sure Your Food’s Cooked Through
One time an older woman returned chicken wings to my store because she said they were “undercooked.” I asked to see the package she bought them in and she handed me a package from our meat department.
I said, “Ma’am, these are from the meat department, they’re raw!” To which she replied, “Oh my, I tried eating a few of them hoping that it was just that part of the wing.” I felt really bad and gave her extra money back.
Hope she’s doing alright.
