The cashier calmy told David that the product was displayed as a demo item, and was not available to be purchased. Her face was bright red…
She indicated that on the box itself the word “DISPLAY” was clearly visible right above the price tag. This meant that the price would be $.01 by default. David couldn’t care less! He was going to get his way no matter what, and demanded to be helped by a manager.
