She knew that she was in trouble but instead of admitting fault, she tried to claim that the foreman had never asked her to move. In fact, she went so far as to say that he had told her she could stay in that spot. That’s when the officer calmly informed her that he knew what was happening as they had received a call from the foreman earlier. That’s when she realized that she was not getting out of trouble this time.
