While on a trawling trip to study Hoki fish, NIWA members were hard at work when they began exploring at greater depths. Further down, things became murky and eerier.
Their quest for Hokies had a surprise in store. It was a shock when they came across something else entirely. While the species was a known one, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to come across one in this way.
