Archaeology is without a doubt one of the coolest jobs around. It doesn’t hurt that Hollywood adds to its glamor and intrigue with iconic characters like Indiana Jones. Behind all the mystique and movies, it still remains an awesome way to make a living.
The job isn’t easy. It entails a lot of studying, research, late nights, early mornings, and certainly isn’t meant for the squeamish. However, sometimes it all pays off with a once in a lifetime discovery, as archaeologists in Turkey found out.
