A Dire Situation
The unfortunate man didn’t have a clue what was happening. Only a day ago, he had volunteered to carry the lady’s groceries for her. Today, his situation seemed dire. He had gotten involved with the wrong people.
He didn’t know that his well-intentioned act of kindness would have this kind of consequences. He was accustomed to ill-treatment, but nothing on this scale had happened to him before.
