Not His Intention
It had been an honest mistake, but Trevor didn’t know if they would believe his claim. A good outcome seemed unlikely; he had offered his help to the woman, and then her groceries had vanished.
He watched the lady with pain in his eyes. He couldn’t stand the idea that she thought he set out to do this intentionally. Trevor was aware that homeless people always got judged negatively, but this was ridiculous. He hadn’t done anything wrong.
