Bauer recalls the incident to KENS 5, a local ABC affiliate, where the original story was published. The incident occurred during a busy Sunday at Red Hook Seafood and Bar. A couple, who happened to be sitting at a table in her section, noticed how overworked the poor server was.
According to Bauer, the customers appeared to sympathize with her condition and were patient as the server took her time.
