Since Benjamin was only six, she sought for his opinion on everything. He had a hard time talking to new people and missed his mother when he was apart from her for lengthy periods of time. He had been a clinging newborn who developed into a dependent young kid, and the prospect of her being absent more often distressed him. He just didn’t see why she didn’t want to remain at home and take care of him full-time.
