It was Madeline’s decision to give being a babysitter another go. She accompanied another lady in the hopes that Benjamin would feel more at ease around a reminder of their past relationship. Nonetheless, it failed miserably. The following morning, the sitter abruptly resigned with a short, nasty text. Madeline inquired more into Benjamin’s day by asking him about it. He shook his shoulders once again, swearing on his stuffed animal that he was innocent.
