The man asked them what they were doing there, Mike was relieved that he would just talk to them, he instantly felt a lot less scared, and more relieved than anything. Apparently, the man’s name was Peter and he was the local forest ranger. Peter was investigating why there was a device active in this part of the forest, and he started asking a lot of questions.
