The Call
The man stepped out of the living room to call Rebecca, leaving Carly alone in the unfamiliar room. She could faintly hear the phone conversation. Suddenly, an uneasy feeling went through her body. “Rebecca is on her way,” the man said. Carly was startled as she didn’t hear the man come back.
