Growling
On her way, she found something strange poking out from the long grass. It was a little ways off the path, and her dog let out a low growl in that direction. Maria wanted to take a closer look but felt the lead pull tight. Her dog wasn’t budging.
She frowned at her dog but was surprised to find the hair on his back was standing. Something wasn’t right.
