Mandy felt guilty
When Mandy calmed down a bit, she was able to explain to him why she had become so enraged. She couldn’t believe Eric had been waiting for her all this time. That he wasted his best years just sitting in a hospital bed waiting for her. She felt incredibly guilty for taking all that time away from him and was angry that he had broken their promise.
