The Police Showed Up
Without warning, a police car suddenly showed up at Jack’s house one night around dinnertime. Jimmy and his family were in the dining room when they saw the police lights shining brightly in the darkness. Jimmy went to a window to watch what was happening. He saw the two police officers talking to Jack at the front door.
