Jimmy began to wonder if maybe he was losing it. Maybe everything Jack was doing with his pool had a simple explanation. Perhaps the pool was unsafe and Jack had never wanted to fix it. And now, perhaps, he was using the empty pool as storage space. It didn’t seem all that strange the more Jimmy thought about it.
