Jack’s scheme had gotten completely out of hand. The home intruder was actually a dealer trying to get revenge on Jack for falsely pinning the murder of the high school student on an innocent man. Jack’s criminal enterprise had been stunningly corrupt. The townspeople couldn’t believe that the Jack they all knew and loved had been so wicked all this time. In the end, Jack was sentenced to life in prison. And Jimmy spent the rest of his life shocked and amazed that his neighbor’s pool was the source of so much scandal.
