To her surprise, Sarah smiled warmly and nodded. She got up and followed Emma back to her front door. Lily didn’t really react when she saw her mom entering their home with this strange woman – she had seen Sarah before, but Emma wasn’t sure if she had recognized her. Not that it mattered now, anyway. She was going to be late for work!
