Watching the Airplanes
Past the security checkpoint, Laura and Jenny found a quiet corner by a large glass window at which Jenny could look at the large planes ascending and descending from the sky undisturbed. The soft hum of the airport machinery and the muffled chatter of fellow passengers filled the air. Jenny clutched her newly acquired airplane, her imagination taking flight before the real journey began.
