Jessica was having a picnic with her new friends on their lawn, and Philip didn’t hesitate to tell him about it as they were getting closer because of his wife. He was surprised that his wife didn’t mention any of those plans to him, and why would she bring people to the house without him knowing? It was strange; that was so unlike her.
