Hungry Young Men
The boys were 9 and 13 years old and they eagerly and ravenously tucked into their food. They wolfed down their tacos so quickly that Risdon knew that he was right about them. These two boys had been starving, and seeing them smile as their bellies got filled made him feel happy. The smiles on their faces were the only reward or thanks he needed. He sat with the boys and shared a few moments with them. Eventually, the two beaming boys got up and left the restaurant.
