As Risdon puts it, they were “two good kids and they’ve got good hearts.” It wasn’t hard for him to recognize the potential these two boys have so he shared some words of wisdom with them. “When you’re older and you’re in a position to help someone out — don’t pass it up,” he told them. The boys promised to live up to those words. Little did they know that Risdon learned something from them that night, too.
