The Drunken House in Sopot, Poland
The Drunken House or Krzywy Domek (crooked house) as it’s called in Polish, is an unusually built structure in the town of Sopot. It was built in 2004 and measures approximately 4, 000 square meters. The building is part of the Rezydent shopping center, but naturally, it has become quite a sight to see for tourists. Designers Zaleski and Szotnyscy were inspired by fairytales drawn by Per Dahlberg and Jan Marcin Szancer. Besides its shops and restaurants, the Drunken House also has office spaces for meetings, as well as a wall of fame that visitors can sign.
