Cheeky Stitchwork from 1848
Hundreds of years ago, and even today (in some places), there were certain tasks women were expected to know how to do. Needlework was one of them. But it appears that not everyone liked practicing their stitching skills, as is evidenced by the picture before you. Edith-Anne was not a fan of putting her fingers to thread. She, in her own needlework creation, left quite a brazen note for whoever dared look upon her masterpiece: Edith-Anne did this in 1848 and hated every stitch.
