Nikola Tesla At Work in His Laboratory
Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest minds in history. Born in Croatia, he immigrated to New York when he was 28 years old, and quickly began working at Thomas Edison’s headquarters in New York City. The two men severed ties after Edison was unwilling to pay Tesla for the improvements he made to his DC dynamos. By 1887, three years after he arrived in the US, the young inventor was granted more than 30 patents. In this picture, it was just another day at work for this genius. But he was being quite bold to sit beneath this large explosion of electricity so nonchalantly.
