Spine-Chilling Neighbor Encounters

The Ice Cream Man

EveryPixel

When my sister and I were about five and six, we lived in a small town of about 600 people. We would frequently play outside without parental supervision. Our neighbor would—unbeknownst to our mother—take us to the local ice cream shop for ice cream.

One day, we moved without any explanation. Years later, we found out the disturbing reason why.

We were told that the neighbor was a registered offender, and our mom moved for our safety. She freaked out when she learned about our trips to the ice cream shop. Neither my sister nor I were ever harmed, but it is still terrifying to think about. Story credit: Reddit / (sushixyz)
