Keep The Blinds Down
My roommates and I used to live in a tenement before we moved to a different area. Our flat was on the ground floor, and the tenement had a small community garden that was right in front of our living room.
We couldn’t eat lunch or even watch TV without seeing one of our old neighbors watching us from the corner of our eyes.
They wouldn’t even pretend that they weren’t watching us. It was really creepy. At the end of our second week there, we agreed we would always keep the blinds down. We never lifted them again until we left. Story credit: Reddit / (No-Zookeepergame516)
