Intrusive Tendencies
Stefanie’s mother was known to go into full-blown panic mode when her children went out for the evening. She needed to be constantly informed of everybody’s whereabouts. To avoid her mother’s questioning, Stefanie’s sister lied about where she was going and said she was going to study with a friend.
She was supposed to text her mother that she had arrived safely, but she forgot, and this caused Stefanie’s mother to drive to the address to see if everything was okay. It turns out she went to a party where there was alcohol, and she told her sister to go back with them immediately. As they were leaving, cops were pulling up. Due to their mom’s inclinations to be intrusive, her sister avoided being arrested.
