Locked Doors
Nicky was sixteen when the uneasiness between the two started. Nicky was a private person and really enjoyed having her own space. So she really appreciated having a locked door when she was in her room.
Nicky would get home from her classes and go straight to her room. The first thing she would do was lock her room. But she was unaware that it was something that really got on her stepdad’s nerves.
