Moving Slowly
Levi moved as slowly as he could. He did not want to scare the dog away. He kneeled and called the dog. The dog didn’t move, but Levi kept moving slowly towards him.
The dog remained vigilant as he took his next step. He pricked up his ears and stiffened his entire body. It bared its teeth at Levi, but he didn’t back down. There was no way Levi knew what he was going to face.
