After losing his job, Jim went off the grid. He got in his car and traveled to different parts of the country, picking up odd jobs here and there. He wasn’t exactly happy with his situation but felt like he couldn’t escape from it. He barely made enough money to get by. And meanwhile, his struggles with alcoholism got worse.
