Jim had told Kathy that he probably wouldn’t make it to her wedding. But Kathy still had hope that he would show up. She desperately wanted to see him again, especially on one of the most important days of her life. She had given him all the details of the wedding. Despite all that was on her mind that day, she still mostly thought about her brother.
