As she walked down the aisle, she surveyed the crowd to see if Jim was there. But he wasn’t. She felt pretty sad that he hadn’t shown up, but she also knew he probably wouldn’t. She felt that if she had been able to see him in person, she might be able to help him. But now she wondered when or even if she would ever see him again.
