The Rumors
There has been some talk in the school cafeteria over the past week about something that was happening there. It wasn’t the best kind of rumor, and Cassie hoped they weren’t true.
She felt compelled to follow Clive during lunchtime. She had no idea what had gotten into her, but she couldn’t let it go.
Eventually, she gave in to the urge, ushering Clive and a few other kids into the cafeteria.
