Her Plan
Cassie waited until all kids were settled in class before informing them they would spend the rest of their period playing on the field. All but Clive jumped joyfully, and the teacher ushered them out of class.
Assuring them she was right behind them, she requested they go to the field. Once the class was empty, she hurried to Clive’s backpack.
She had to act fast.
