Laura gradually began to show signs of regaining awareness after a few weeks. When she awoke, though, she was perplexed by what she saw surrounding her.
She had been admitted to the hospital and was lying in a hospital bed. She had no recollection of what had occurred before the tragedy. And there were some strangers surrounding her, calling her by a name she didn’t know and treating her like she was their child. However, she had no idea who they were.
