Two Peas In A Pod
Laura Van Ryn, the youngest child of four, was from the Van Ryn family of Caledonia. She was the daughter of Don and Susie Van Ryn. Laura and Whitney both attended Taylor University, a small Christian school located in Indiana.
For the Van Ryns and the Ceraks, religion was essential. Both families’ fathers were active members of their respective churches. Both families would have been unable to cope with these occurrences without the support of their religion. This is how it went down.
