A Difficult Day
It was 9 p.m., and the two girls were exhausted. Whitney and Laura had spent their entire day working on gala preparations at the University’s Fort Wayne campus. Now they were on their way home in the school bus, weary and looking forward to returning home.
Their families were also anticipating their arrival, with dinner on the table, and they expected to waltz through the doors at any moment. However, neither Withney nor Laura appeared to be returning. Instead, both families were surprised by a call.
