Almost Gave Up
His thoughts were anything but cheerful, as you’d imagine. His first thoughts after waking up were, “No one will ever show me tenderness. No one will ever love me.” One night he even heard his mom sob the words, “I hope you die,” which almost made him give up.
He felt absolutely alone and terrified. He was certain that this was how he would feel for the rest of his life. But one thing made it even worse.
