A Rough Week
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, the incident occurred. It had been an especially difficult week for Carrie since her loving father had tested positive for Covid, and her family was doing everything to care for him while also preventing his condition from worsening.
She had a close relationship with her father, so seeing him stuck in bed hurt her heart and constantly made her worry. After getting into her car, she headed out for a drive.
