He checked his online statements often and even made a call to his bank to see if there was some kind of glitch in the system that could explain why the rental payments weren’t showing up in his account. Surely there could be a reasonable explanation why the family’s payments weren’t going through, like a change in currency or an unpaid fee. But the answer he got from the bank made him hopping mad. The family wasn’t having any trouble using the online banking system, because they weren’t even trying to use it at all.
