He Would Have Understood
Ravaux knew a thing or two about going through a financial rough patch. He offered his tenants a fair price for their rent and he was even open to negotiations for the price. He would have understood if they needed a little more time to pay their dues. He would have even released them from their contract if necessary. But they never even gave him a chance to explain himself or discuss the situation, so Ravaux knew that he needed to try a different tactic to figure out what was going on.
