When I was 5, I was told the best presents were handmade ones. So for my older sister I decided to paint a picture of a dolphin (her favorite animal) on a piece of wood.
It looked terrible and she obviously hated it… Young 5 year old me didn’t understand. I began to cry and asked her why she didn’t like it. After being told it looked terrible and was stupid she threw it in the fireplace to use as firewood. It was a sad Christmas. Story credit: Reddit/KaySchles
