A Face
Some people believed that the face was a sculpture of sorts; something made by Martian people, either recently or in the past, to let the rest of the universe know about their existence.
Others suggest that the face might have been carved by some even further alien race who visited Mars, in an attempt to communicate with Earth. And that isn’t all.
