Protesting Investments in South. America During Apartheid

Protesting and social reform was at a pinnacle during the 70s. These Harvard students are protesting issues that are happening an ocean away. The 70s were a time for global growth and advancements. Harvards’ investments in South Africa were brought to a halt because many students disapproved of them supporting a corrupt and racist economy. It had become public knowledge that apartheid had been negatively affecting the citizens of South Africa, and people around the world were not taking it lightly.
