Believe it or not, pinball was illegal in L.A., New York, and Chicago all the way into the 1970s! Gaming today has become such a large industry, it seems strange that a game as harmless as pinball was banned once upon a time. Here we see a young man on his way into an arcade. This picture was taken in London, England, where arcades and games were perfectly legal and many, both young and old, enjoyed an afternoon of video games. Like many other inventions created in the 70s, we have taken the concept of arcades ran with it. I’m sure you have heard of Virtual reality gaming centers and bigger gaming arcades like David Busters. These establishments are usually full on the weekend, offering endless amounts of fun and entertainment.
