A Trip to the Moon
Apollo 13’s return from their trip to the moon is arguably one of the most noteworthy events that occurred during the 70s. The proud astronauts are seen waving to the welcoming crowds after a successful trip to the moon and back. How excited they must’ve been to return to their friends and family after such an adventurous journey. The Apollo did not have the smooth landing they were hoping for, but the three crewmen still survived the tumultuous descent back to earth.
