One of the greatest late-night television shows ever created debuted right in the middle of the 70s, 1975, to be exact. This show started out with a very similar schema to the one it has today. The show was filled with hilarious sketches by 70s kings and queens of comedy, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, and John Belushi. Saturday Night Live also gave a stage to many rookie comedians who later on became very successful, such as Steve Martin and Eddy Murphy.
