Asking the Staff
Sandra had already begun to ask the staff what had happened. She started with the staff member assigned to him that day, Misty, and other staff members Edgar had particularly liked, but no one seemed to know anything. They had even checked the cameras in the hallways and in his room itself, but somehow, those had been turned off right around the time he had disappeared from the facility. Either someone had taken him or he’d found a way to leave with help. Either way, someone knew to turn off those specific cameras. This was an inside job, but how would they prove it, and more importantly, how would they find Edgar?
